How large is your team?
Our core team consists of six contractors who have a considerable amount of expertise and experience in the steel framing industry. Our extended network includes a number of third-party contractors who provide additional services, support and insights whenever required.
Is steel more sustainable than timber?
Steel is definitely more sustainable than timber as it is 100% recyclable and also does not exert the same pressure on the environment that timber does through deforestation. Moreover, steel buildings tend to be more sturdy and durable, especially in the context of the weather conditions of Australia which is known for bushfires and cyclones.
What makes you better than other steel providers in the market?
Our fundamental objective is to solve the two major issues that the steel market in Australia currently is plagued by – shortage of timber frames and long wait times for steel framing inquires and projects. Our business processes and material choices offer a powerful solution to these pressing issues and are also competitively priced as compared to the average market rates.
What are the standards and regulations that you adhere to?
We adhere to all major NASH standards pertaining to residential areas, low-rise steel framing, and bushfire areas. We also adhere to National Construction Code (NCC) and major Australian Standards like AS/NZS 1170 series (Minimum design load on structures), AS 1397 (coatings of zinc alloyed with aluminium and magnesium), AS 3600 (termite management), AS 3700 (masonry code), AS 4055 (wind loads for housing), and AS/NZS 4600 (cold-formed steel structures).
